The Impact You’ll Make at Appier
We are in search of a Senior Machine Learning Scientist to join our dynamic Advertising Cloud Optimization team, responsible for developing core machine learning algorithms that enhance campaign efficiency and maximize advertiser ROI. Our programmatic advertising platform operates on a vast scale, processing millions of queries per second (QPS) powered by our proprietary deep learning models for bidding, pricing, and personalized content delivery.
In this position, you will assess ads incrementality across various traffic types, creatives, and user segments, while optimizing campaign efficiency through advanced machine learning models and AI automation.
What You’ll Work On
- Utilize scientific methodologies to enhance ads measurement.
- Lead online experiments to continuously boost ad effectiveness.
- Independently manage project initiatives.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders, backend, and frontend teams to deliver measurement solutions for our clients.
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of industry experience in causal inference, incrementality, marketing mix modeling, or other measurement solutions within digital advertising, with a solid understanding of methodologies and their underlying assumptions.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, along with experience in modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Demonstrated ownership and strong collaboration capabilities.
