The Performance Engineering team collaborates extensively with various divisions across the organization to assess product performance, pinpoint performance bottlenecks, and work alongside engineers to resolve performance and scalability challenges. This role includes setting performance targets for software releases, guiding teams in developing performance benchmarks, conducting competitive benchmark analyses for different Databricks products, and performing in-depth analyses to identify and rectify performance issues. As the Senior Engineering Manager, you will foster partnerships with multiple engineering teams, spearhead performance and scalability initiatives, and deliver the most efficient and cost-effective solutions in the industry.
