Position Overview:
As the Senior Manager of PPC Marketing at Certus, you will be the strategic leader of our PPC function. You will oversee performance across a diverse portfolio of brands and verticals, managing a team of six PPC managers across varying levels of experience. While the Director of Digital Marketing provides the strategic vision, you will ensure the execution aligns with our goals, maintaining coherence and accountability.
Your role is significant, as you will manage paid search initiatives across approximately 100 domains and five verticals, with an annual budget of $26 million, projected to increase. Some verticals operate in regulated industries, which will influence everything from messaging to landing strategies.
This position requires versatility. You will engage in strategic discussions, develop team members, and step in to execute campaigns when necessary, bridging the gap between vision and action, as well as aligning your team's daily activities with leadership’s strategic objectives.
Performance Mandate:
Accountability for PPC performance includes:
- Maximizing profit, revenue, ROAS, and pacing across all brands and verticals.
- Overseeing budget allocation and forecasting at the vertical level.
- Driving channel innovation through new campaign types, platform features, and AI-enabled testing.
- Creating vertical-specific strategies in collaboration with Product, PMM, SEO, Social Media, CRM, and Analytics.
- Ensuring quality assurance, governance, and measurement integrity to safeguard brand reputation and budget.
