Role Overview: Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Electrical Systems
This Senior Manufacturing Engineer role centers on electronics and is based in Lexington, MA. The engineer will oversee manufacturing processes for electronic and electromechanical assemblies, focusing on cost-effective production, reliable testing, and scalability to meet demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic and electromechanical assemblies.
- Serve as the main contact on the production floor for diagnosing and resolving complex electrical and electromechanical failures.
- Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve First Pass Yield and reduce rework.
- Collaborate on new product introductions, working closely with Design Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
- Continuously improve the value stream to support growing production needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive hands-on experience in electronics troubleshooting and functional test development.
- Strong grasp of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability) principles.
- Analytical and data-driven approach to problem solving.
- Comfort working in environments with limited resources and shifting priorities.
- Ownership mentality, with a focus on refining hardware build processes for consistency and reliability.
