As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will take a lead role in overseeing and executing projects that span from conceptualization to realization. The perfect candidate will have a proven track record of success in high-performing engineering teams, with extensive expertise in electromechanical system design, manufacturing processes, and automation. Key Responsibilities

  • Engineering: Direct and manage high-impact engineering projects from inception to execution.

  • Design and construct the next generation of automated manufacturing systems for Parallel Fluidics.

  • Enhance and refine our engineering processes and best practices.

  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers across various disciplines.

  • Communicate progress and insights to company leadership effectively.

  • Product Development: Collaborate with the applications team to grasp customer needs and enhance product specifications.

  • Act as the primary contributor in developing new microfluidic hardware products.

  • Oversee the verification and validation processes of products prior to their launch.

  • Facilitate the transition of high-volume products from in-house manufacturing to third-party manufacturers.

  • Manufacturing Systems: Identify and implement improvements to our in-house designed manufacturing equipment.

  • Design experiments and testing methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes.

  • Work in tandem with the manufacturing team to pinpoint gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
