Senior Mechanical Engineer – Critical Facilities

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Dallas, TX team, specializing in Critical Facilities. Your background in a consulting environment and experience with mission-critical projects will be pivotal to your success in this role. Based out of our Boston, MA office, you will play an essential role in designing major data center engineering projects across various global sectors.

Key Responsibilities
In your role as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will serve as the firm’s key representative in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and project team members. You will be tasked with creating foundational designs under the guidance of senior engineers and designers, as well as developing specifications, system narratives, and layouts for a variety of projects.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Establishing design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects.
- Overseeing the preparation of reports and analysis of system options and building conditions.
- Ensuring interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and project consultants.
- Monitoring all correspondence among team members, clients, contractors, and owners.
- Supervising construction administrative tasks such as field reports, responses to RFIs, and processing bulletins and addenda.
- Conducting periodic objective and comprehensive employee evaluations.
- Participating in and contributing to the business unit's Technical Leadership Committee.
- Assisting the Technical Manager and Chief Engineer in technical training and staff mentoring.
