Qualifications
Responsibilities:Develop a robotic platform tailored for lunar construction, emphasizing motion systems and dynamic fluid systems. Create prototypes utilizing both in-house and external fabrication resources. Specify robotic servo-driven actuators meeting aerospace industry standards for mobile robotics and large-scale automation. Conduct FEA and CFD analyses to ensure reliable, safe engineering solutions for space applications. Provide hands-on troubleshooting and build support while designing, implementing, and integrating solutions in a fast-paced AGILE environment. Utilize engineering methodologies to produce design solutions, emphasizing strong documentation practices. Collaborate with a diverse team to procure, fabricate, test, and operate the hardware you have designed. Engage in a variety of tasks daily and establish individual and team goals aligned with the company's OKRs. Minimum Qualifications:B. S. degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in designing mechanical system components, particularly in electromechanical systems and robotics. Significant experience in R&D product development environments, focusing on integrating cutting-edge technologies. Proficient in mechanical design and integration using 3D CAD tools, preferably Solidworks. Able to build trust and foster positive professional relationships, contributing to an inclusive culture. Capable of collaborating with multidisciplinary team members across various technical fields. Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
