The following qualifications and experience are highly valued, but we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every criterion:Chartered Engineer status with professional registration (or actively pursuing chartership). Equivalent recognition from a relevant professional body will also be considered.6–10+ years of experience in a Building Services consultancy or significant design experience as a Mechanical Engineer within the Mechanical Contracting sector. Demonstrable success in mechanical engineering design and project delivery across building services initiatives. Thorough understanding of Building Services systems and Australian Standards, with the ability to impart technical knowledge to clients, junior engineers, and multidisciplinary teams. Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.

Join our expanding Building Engineering team in Perth as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. We are in search of an experienced and enthusiastic engineer who excels at providing top-notch design solutions across a diverse array of sectors.

Your Impact:

  • Leverage your mechanical design expertise to achieve high-quality, cost-effective results on major building projects in health, defence, transport, data centres, sports, and commercial sectors throughout ANZ.
  • Take the lead on mechanical design packages for prominent client projects, ensuring the effective delivery of HVAC and building services systems that contribute to outstanding engineering results.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to maintain excellence in calculations, specifications, and detailed design documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with senior engineers and project leaders to provide integrated mechanical design solutions for complex building projects.
  • Mentor and guide graduate and junior engineers, aiding in their technical growth and nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Foster and sustain robust working relationships with internal teams and clients, playing a key role in achieving successful project outcomes and encouraging repeat business.
