What You'll DoDesign and develop equipment for alignment system placements and fixtures. Delegate tasks and oversee technical planning within the target area team. Assist in the development of alignment processes, including automated alignment procedures and integration methodologies. Design and implement prototypes and experiments to validate the positioning and repeatability of alignment equipment. Perform tolerance stack-ups, FMEA, and spatial analyses using tools such as MATLAB, Python, and CAD (experience with Creo is a plus). Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including controls, diagnostics, and systems engineering—to define hardware specifications and ensure comprehensive integration. Review designs to ensure compliance with precision and alignment standards. Document processes, test outcomes, and deliver technical updates to internal stakeholders. Support the fabrication and installation of mechanical assemblies related to alignment systems.
