What You Will Be Doing:Take ownership of thermo-mechanical hardware designs for Helion's fusion generator and enhance their specifications. Draw insights from past engineering practices, innovate new hardware solutions, and rigorously test your designs. Utilize 3D CAD software (e.g., NX) for the design of fusion hardware. Conduct thorough analyses (1D, 2D, 3D) using both in-house and third-party tools (e.g., ANSYS), facilitating design reviews to refine and enhance the final product. Expand your engineering expertise and domain knowledge by collaborating with seasoned professionals. Work closely with experienced technicians to bring your hardware designs to life. Diagnose and resolve hardware issues as they emerge in integrated fusion generators. Required Skills:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in delivering comprehensive engineering projects, with a strong focus on schedule management. Proficiency in thermo-mechanical design, fluid dynamics, and structural analysis. Experience with 3D CAD software and analysis tools. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
