Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Project Manager who will be at the forefront of our mechanical and plumbing project delivery. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial success, effective scheduling, and client engagement throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will harmonize efforts among field operations, estimating teams, and executive leadership, upholding AMCON's unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management: Direct project teams to meet timelines, budgets, and compliance with safety and quality standards. Maintain clear communication with superintendents, field personnel, and clients during all project phases.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and cost control systems to meet financial objectives. Assess change orders, billing, and cost-to-complete projections to ensure profitability.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change logs, is accurate and up-to-date. Facilitate project coordination with design teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Schedule Coordination: Create, maintain, and share project schedules with internal teams and clients. Proactively identify and address scheduling risks through strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Issue Resolution: Foresee potential project challenges and implement timely corrective measures. Serve as the primary escalation point for operational and client issues.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication and dependable project delivery. Represent AMCON with professionalism in all client and partner interactions.
