Role overview
Atom Computing seeks a Senior Microfabrication Engineer to lead process architecture for high-frequency optoelectronic devices. These devices are key to the company’s next-generation quantum computers. This role is based primarily in the COSINC cleanroom at CU Boulder.
What you will do
- Design photolithography masks for novel optical substrates
- Develop and refine fabrication processes for unique device requirements
- Integrate device physics with hardware, addressing challenges such as connecting RF signals to precision optics
- Mentor junior engineers in fabrication techniques and best practices
- Help expand and improve Atom Computing’s internal microfabrication capabilities
Location
This position is based in Boulder, CO, with primary work in the COSINC cleanroom at CU Boulder.
