Position Overview: Senior Model-Based Control Software Engineer
SharkNinja is currently seeking a Senior Model-Based Control System Design Engineer to join our dynamic Ninja team. The ideal candidate will be a technically proficient, hands-on engineer with extensive knowledge of control systems and model-based design. We are searching for someone passionate about product innovation and experienced in managing intricate, cross-functional projects from conception to mass production.
In this senior role within the Ninja Control Systems team, your primary focus will be on developing real-time optimization and control algorithms tailored for low-compute hardware, contributing to the next generation of intelligent household appliances. You will utilize model-based design methodologies to create, simulate, validate, and implement control algorithms, transitioning from system-level models to embedded systems. Your contributions will be vital in creating smart systems that serve as the operational core of our most advanced and impactful products.
The engineer will be responsible for the system models that act as the definitive source of truth for system behavior, ensuring traceability from requirements to implementation and validation. As a senior engineer, you will provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, and oversee the control strategy and system design across various product lines. Collaboration with R&D, Product Development, and Advanced Engineering teams will be essential for ensuring the seamless integration of electronics, software, and mechanical systems.
