Key Responsibilities
As a Senior NodeJS Engineer, you will contribute to the development of our innovative book editing tool. Your role will encompass:
- Collaborating closely with designers and fellow engineers to conceptualize, develop, and launch new features from scratch.
- Expanding the functionality of our state-of-the-art collaborative word processor.
- Creating beautiful book templates that enhance user experience for both e-readers and print.
- Architecting and building highly scalable web applications.
- Assessing and optimizing the performance, reliability, and security of applications currently in production.
- Taking ownership of tasks and guiding features from inception to completion.
- Providing constructive feedback to teammates and valuing the feedback they provide in return.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven professional experience with NodeJS and NoSQL databases such as Redis and MongoDB.
- A strong commitment to test-driven development.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- A passion for remote work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing production-grade applications that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs).
- A healthy dose of ambition, eagerness to learn, and a good sense of humor.
