Proven experience in leading the research, development, and enhancement of advanced numerical algorithms for remote sensing data exploitation across diverse sensor systems (e.g., EO/IR, SAR, RF). Expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing high-performance algorithms in Python and C++, with an emphasis on scalability, efficiency, and reliability in mission-critical environments. Ability to architect and develop comprehensive signal processing, image processing, and data exploitation pipelines from initial prototype to production deployment. Experience in advancing modeling, simulation, and machine learning frameworks, including creating reusable infrastructures to support algorithm assessment and integration. Skilled in defining and executing quantitative performance evaluations of algorithms and sensor systems, including error characterization, sensitivity analysis, and validation against real-world data. Competence in cross-functional collaboration with software engineers, system architects, and mission stakeholders to integrate algorithms into operational systems and ensure mission alignment. Proven leadership capabilities within Agile development teams, including mentoring junior engineers, promoting best practices, and contributing to shared codebases and tools. Engagement in proposal efforts, technical roadmaps, and customer interactions by effectively articulating algorithmic strategies and unique selling points.
