In this position, you will design and uphold the foundational systems for our engineers while ensuring reliability, observability, and incident response across a complex, real-time platform serving regulated financial institutions.If you thrive on tackling challenging infrastructure problems, prioritize reliability and operational excellence, and aspire to influence both our platform and company direction, this role is perfect for you.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and sustain internal developer platforms that facilitate self-service deployments, testing, and observability.Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines for application and AI workloads, minimizing friction and bolstering deployment safety.Define, monitor, and continuously refine SLIs and SLOs across distributed systems.Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, and conduct blameless post-mortems to foster long-term reliability improvements.Proactively identify risks related to reliability, scalability, and performance, leading initiatives to bolster system resilience.Implement automation to reduce operational toil and enhance mean time to recovery.Manage and optimize Condukt’s cloud infrastructure on GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, etc.).Maintain and fine-tune Elasticsearch clusters that support search and indexing workloads.Configure and optimize Cloudflare for enhanced edge performance, security, and reliability.Drive cost efficiency in cloud usage without sacrificing performance or reliability.Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams to address platform needs and roadmap decisions.
