Role overview
The Senior Operations Representative is based at Deliveroo’s main office in Manchester and reports to the Rider Compliance Team Lead. This position works closely with the wider compliance group, focusing on efficient management of compliance pipelines, reducing downtime for riders, and ensuring all legal requirements are met locally.
Main responsibilities
- Onboard riders during compliance sweeps, checking that all information and documents are valid and up to date.
- Monitor compliance workflows to streamline onboarding and reduce delays.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance for market launches and ongoing fleet management.
- Oversee vendor compliance queues to ensure timely review and follow-up.
- Share market-specific compliance insights with vendors and internal teams.
- Respond quickly to internal and external compliance escalations.
- Maintain and update Rider Compliance Team processes and training materials.
- Deliver training sessions to new hires and vendors.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Support the team in achieving key performance indicators and targets.
- Proactively identify compliance risks in the rider fleet or processes and take action to address them.
