Join Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) as a Senior Platform Engineer (DataOps), where you will play a pivotal role in supporting the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the National Library of Medicine (NLM), which is part of the National Institutes of Health. This position offers the flexibility of being full-time and can be performed onsite in Bethesda, MD, or remotely.

NCBI is dedicated to enhancing scientific research and public health by providing free access to biomedical literature and genomic data online. It ranks among the top 400 most-visited websites globally, serving a diverse community of researchers, physicians, educators, students, and the public. NCBI is well-known for developing PubMed, an extensive index of over 29 million biomedical research abstracts, often linked to full-text literature and supporting data.

As a member of the newly formed DataOps Platform team, you will tackle complex challenges in developing an enterprise-wide DataOps platform. This initiative leverages decades of experience in managing vital data-intensive applications, utilizing cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, GitOps, and containerization.
