Primary ResponsibilitiesLead research and design initiatives for high-power electronics systems in the hydrogen sector. Engineer power stages ranging from several kilowatts to multiple megawatts. Create designs for analog circuits, digital signals, pulse-width modulation (PWM), and general-purpose input/output (GPIO). Develop high-frequency magnetic components. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to execute tasks related to control systems, testing, and layout. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics.8+ years of experience in designing power electronics systems. Proficient with 600V and 1200V class switching power converters. Experience with various power topologies, including AC-DC (Power Factor Correction), isolated DC-DC, and DC-AC converters. Familiarity with power semiconductors such as MOSFETs, IGBTs, and SiC. Knowledge of simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink and PSPICE. Proven track record in high-power electronics projects. Expertise in soft-switching and resonant topologies, utilizing GaN and SiC power components, as well as EMI design and troubleshooting. Experience guiding products from concept to manufacturing.

This position requires onsite work at our San Jose, CA facility and involves reporting directly to the Director of Power and Electrical Engineering.
