Work Location: This position is based in our Seattle Office and follows a hybrid work model. We emphasize in-person collaboration, with team members expected to work onsite from Tuesday to Friday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays, unless an approved workplace accommodation is in place. Reports to: VP, DEMSDirect Reports: NoneDefine and refine technical direction through programs, reviews, communications, and documentation. Offer architectural guidance to technical leaders. Lead the technology lifecycle and strategy roadmap. Assess and enhance existing systems and processes. Consult the VP on technical issues and strategic directions.

Your Contribution

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in cultivating a collaborative culture, engaging closely with cross-functional teams such as product management, operations, and engineering. You will serve as a critical link between these teams and executive leadership to ensure that technical initiatives align with business objectives. Additionally, you will provide the VP with insights on technical matters and strategic direction, offering expert guidance on technology choices.

Your role will also position you as a center of excellence, advocating for a culture centered around quality, customer focus, and simplicity. With your extensive technical knowledge in cloud architecture, distributed systems, and data storage solutions, you will remain abreast of industry trends to introduce cutting-edge solutions to the organization.
