Proven problem-solving skills with experience in developing new films for innovative applications and familiarity with chemistry/materials characterization. Experience with semiconductor processing equipment to research, develop, and optimize processes for depositing metal and dielectric films through ALD, PEALD, Epitaxy, or PECVD. Adept at bringing innovative ideas and staying updated with state-of-the-art processing applications in the semiconductor sector. Responsibilities include providing process consulting, accountability, and producing technical papers on advanced process applications, along with generating Intellectual Property. Actively participate in and facilitate technical problem-solving sessions using scientific methodologies.

Role Overview

As a Senior Process Engineer at ASM, you will engage with advanced semiconductor processing and analytical equipment to research, develop, and optimize processes including oxidation, annealing, curing, Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD, PEALD), Epitaxy, and PECVD for applications in logic, memory, analog, power, and MEMS. You will design and execute complex experiments, gather measurements, and interpret intricate experimental results. Your role will also involve delivering innovative solutions, producing technical publications, and contributing to the generation of Intellectual Property (IP).

Note: This position is aimed at candidates graduating in Spring 2026 or those who have graduated within the past two years and possess 0–2 years of professional experience.
