Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and support for process plants, including pilot and large-scale plant delivery.
  • Collaborate with the process team to create design and operational philosophies.
  • Ensure the accuracy of detailed calculations, process engineering datasheets, and drawings to specify the engineering requirements of our technology.
  • Execute process engineering deliverables and review vendor documents.
  • Assist in process engineering studies, FEEDs, and EPC projects.
  • Conduct process modeling and simulation.
  • Develop BFDs, PFDs, and manage heat and material balances.
  • Contribute to MSD and material selection philosophy.
  • Size, specify, and generate process data sheets for various equipment, including vessels, separators, scrubbers, packed columns, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, PSVs, and other process equipment.
  • Conduct mechanical calculations for process equipment.
  • Maintain high safety standards by providing input for HAZOPS, LOPA, and other safety assessments.
  • Develop P&IDs for processes and utilities, including selecting design conditions, hydraulic analysis, line sizing, pipe specifications, equipment isolation, vent and drain systems, and cause-and-effect diagrams.
  • Size and specify in-line instrumentation and control valves.
  • Summarize utilities and chemical consumption.
  • Review engineering deliverables and vendor data, and liaise with external agencies.
  • Develop design tools and engage in standardization activities to enhance efficiency.
  • Support Nuada's commercial functions with proposal development for new opportunities.
  • Oversee multiple project activities, ensuring they adhere to timelines.
  • Exhibit strong communication, reporting, interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills to facilitate business growth.
  • Be prepared to travel as necessary for various assignments.
  • Report to the Engineering Manager, tracking progress and performance.
