Modash is an innovative platform specializing in creator partnerships, designed to facilitate seamless collaborations between brands and creators across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. We are on the lookout for a Senior Product Engineer to enhance our creator discovery and management system. Join our dynamic team of approximately 20 engineers spread across four product teams as we tackle exciting challenges and expand our capabilities.
Your Impact as a Senior Engineer at Modash
As a Senior Engineer, you won’t just write code; you will influence the core of our product.
- Address real-world challenges. Transform customer pain points into straightforward, effective solutions that brands and creators depend on daily.
- Takes ownership of results. From understanding the problem to designing solutions, developing, launching, and refining them in the live environment, you will take full responsibility.
- Make informed decisions. Base your choices on clarity rather than bias. Ask detailed questions, challenge norms, and select the best approach for each scenario, whether it’s rapid experimentation or robust engineering for scale.
- Sustain momentum. Don’t wait for ideal conditions; make informed decisions, involve your team when necessary, and ensure progress continues.
- Elevate team standards. Provide constructive feedback early and support your colleagues, striving for excellence in reasoning, quality, and decision-making.
Our Technology Stack
While familiarity with our stack is advantageous, it is not mandatory. A willingness to learn and prepare for our interview process, which includes a practical coding task in Vue.js and Node.js, is all we require.
Our current stack includes:
- Frontend: Vue.js 3 with Pinia
- Backend: Node.js with TypeScript
- Infrastructure: AWS + Pulumi (Infrastructure as Code)
- Database: MongoDB, DynamoDB
- Tooling: GitHub, Linear, Notion
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Extensive experience in developing and operating production systems - you understand the fundamentals of making software operational.
- A proactive approach to learning - whether it’s front-end, back-end, infrastructure, or new technologies.
- Strong analytical skills for crafting solutions - you can evaluate problems and respond effectively.
