What We're Looking For:Minimum of five years of experience as a product manager or product owner for B2B Analytics products. At least three years of practical experience as a data analyst or engineer with one or more of the following technologies: Postgres, Kafka, Clickhouse, Snowflake, or Databricks. In-depth knowledge of APIs and infrastructure supporting SaaS applications. Understanding of the SaaS business model, particularly for mission-critical applications. Hands-on experience with modern product discovery techniques to validate user needs and solutions. Strong grasp of contemporary cloud infrastructure and cloud unit economics.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to spearhead the development of Aiven's managed Analytics offering, integrating Clickhouse, Kafka, and Postgres for a cohesive, cloud-native experience.

Your responsibilities will include defining and executing the strategy, roadmap, and deployment processes to enable customers to efficiently scale and manage analytics workloads across top cloud providers in over 150 regions worldwide.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Aiven’s Analytics suite.
  • Gain a profound understanding of target customers and translate their needs into unique product capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to prioritize investments, ensuring a balance between new features, reliability, and user satisfaction.
  • Conduct product discovery, validation, and iterative improvements utilizing contemporary discovery methods.
  • Facilitate alignment across Product, Solution Architecture, Technical Account Management, Design, and Marketing teams.
  • Support go-to-market (GTM) success through effective product positioning, packaging, and thought leadership.
  • Identify growth opportunities, establish success metrics, and develop business cases for investments.
  • Stay abreast of market trends in Analytics and act as a representative within the ClickHouse Developer community.
