As a Senior Product Manager for Unity Catalog (https://databricks.com/product/unity-catalog), you will be at the forefront of the metadata and governance foundation for the Lakehouse. Unity Catalog not only ensures fine-grained security and governance capabilities but also enhances performance and productivity through features like lineage tracking, search, discovery, auditing, and compliance for our customers' data and AI assets.

This role requires you to orchestrate all product activities from conceptualization to execution. You will engage with large enterprise customers to understand their needs, develop long-term product strategies, define product roadmaps, collaborate with engineering teams to build innovative solutions, and coordinate with various internal stakeholders to guarantee product success both pre- and post-launch.

Your impact will include:

  • Designing and launching new governance and security features within Unity Catalog.
  • Defining and developing new platform services that empower Databricks’ data and AI product teams (ML/AI, Data Science & Engineering, Data Warehousing, etc.) to seamlessly integrate workload-specific governance capabilities that augment the value of Unity Catalog and the Lakehouse.
  • Taking your visionary features from ideation and customer exploration to full-scale launch, including marketing strategies, field enablement, and fostering broad customer adoption across all segments.
  • Providing insights about the data governance landscape, customer needs, and market trends to the engineering and leadership teams through close collaboration with customers and partners.
