Your Mission
In the role of Senior Product Manager for Sourcing, you will be the primary architect of our supplier-focused technology, reshaping how we engage with our global supplier network. Your mission encompasses defining the vision, strategy, and technological roadmap for our sourcing domain, including supplier onboarding, communication, and data management. Your contributions will significantly enhance our operational efficiency, supplier relationships, and capacity to scale sourcing capabilities for the future.
Core Responsibilities:
- Product Vision & Strategy: Spearhead and take ownership of the product strategy for the supplier platform. Ensure alignment across teams regarding the product's objectives and purpose, consistently utilizing the strategy to inform daily decisions and priorities.
- Process Analysis & Re-engineering: Evaluate and map existing sourcing and procurement processes to uncover significant improvement opportunities, ensuring the new platform enhances efficiency.
- Technical & Architectural Alignment: Collaborate with principal engineers to ensure the chosen platform is compatible with our existing technical infrastructure and long-term architectural vision. You will identify and prioritize technical, functional, and quality issues.
- Stakeholder & Supplier Collaboration: Engage closely with internal teams (Sourcing, product development, and product operations) and directly with external suppliers to gain a deep understanding of their workflows, challenges, and needs. Foster trust and healthy cross-functional relationships.
- Requirements Definition: Transform business needs and user insights into comprehensive product requirements, functional user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Backlog Management & Prioritization: Own and prioritize the product backlog, breaking down features into manageable tasks.
