We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Production, Fleet & Maintenance Engineer to seamlessly connect initial design with enduring product performance. You will take on the technical leadership for our battery products once they enter production and the market. This role demands a detective's mindset to troubleshoot field failures, a builder's approach to manage reworks, and a leader's capacity to oversee our battery fleet and manufacturing collaborations.

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Engineering Change Management (ECM)

    • Work closely with the Engineering team and Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to evaluate and confirm hardware or process modifications.

    • Oversee or remotely monitor change implementations on the production line to guarantee no compromise in quality.

    • Validation: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure changes comply with safety and performance criteria prior to customer delivery.

  • Failure Analysis & Root Cause Investigation

    • Manage the Field Return (RMA) process from technical receipt to resolution.

    • Conduct thorough teardowns and data evaluations to uncover the root causes of battery failures.

    • Collaborate with the design team to implement lasting solutions for identified issues.
