Position Overview
The Program Manager will play a pivotal role within the Operations Strategy team, spearheading the DREAM program and implementing cost-saving initiatives throughout the North American Zone. This adaptable leader will convert board-level financial targets (the "WISH") into actionable commitments across various categories including labor, scrap, quality, and freight, ensuring sustainable outcomes. As our strategic priorities evolve, this role necessitates exceptional agility to pivot and address emerging focus areas as the business landscape changes.
Key Responsibilities
DREAM Portfolio Management
- Strategic Allocation: Decompose high-level "WISH" board commitments into targeted savings categories.
- Pipeline Development: Foster, advance, and monitor project opportunities through the intake process and ECHO Tracker management.
- Portfolio Analytics: Guarantee adherence to processes and deliver regular Standard (STD) reporting on portfolio health.
Run-Rate Governance & Financial Alignment
- Finance Collaboration: Engage closely with Finance to ensure project savings translate into actual P&L results.
- Leakage Prevention: Oversee ongoing operations and P&L metrics to identify and mitigate operational leakage that undermines project gains.
- Governance Practices: Direct weekly run-rate updates and monthly governance reviews across North America Zone, Plant, and Product Family levels.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure metric alignment for MBOs/Policy Deployment and provide triage recommendations when targets are endangered.
