In this pivotal role, you will engage in all phases of project management, from identifying project requirements and defining scope to spearheading the development of robust controls analytics solutions. The Senior Project Controls Analyst will be instrumental in delivering advanced analytics and data insights that bolster project controls for significant infrastructure endeavors. Your contributions will be vital in aligning project risks, schedules, and cost forecasts with overarching business objectives. You will collaborate closely with project managers, risk analysts, and commercial teams to enhance project performance visibility, thereby facilitating informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Controls Analytics & Reporting:
- Design and oversee dashboards and reports that illuminate project health across PMO functions at both project and program levels.
- Create and track key project performance indicators while identifying trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Deliver clear and actionable insights to stakeholders to inform effective project governance.
- Data Modelling & Analysis:
- Construct descriptive and predictive analytics models to evaluate potential project outcomes based on current data and emerging trends.
Risk & Performance Management:
- Partner with the risk management team to integrate data-driven risk models into the controls framework.
- Quantify and incorporate risk impacts into forecasts and contingency plans to provide a comprehensive view of project performance, supporting QSRA and QCRA efforts.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Engage closely with project teams to understand their needs, explore desired outcomes, and deliver customized analytics solutions.
- Effectively communicate complex analytics insights and recommendations in a clear manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines in all controls analytics methodologies and practices.
- Stay abreast of advancements in analytics tools, techniques, project controls software, and best practices within project and program management.
