Mintel is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Business Transformation team in London. This role leads strategic initiatives that help Mintel scale and improve operations. The Senior Project Manager connects business goals with technology and process changes, working closely with teams across the globe.
Main Responsibilities
Programme Leadership
- Manage several transformation projects at once, keeping priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines clear.
- Translate Mintel’s strategic objectives into actionable programme plans and ensure all projects support these goals.
Strategic Planning and Governance
- Set programme scope, objectives, and clear success measures from the beginning.
- Develop and maintain governance structures, reporting routines, and stakeholder engagement plans to track progress and maintain visibility.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
- Share updates on progress, risks, and results in a timely and audience-appropriate way.
Risk and Issue Management
- Spot potential risks early and create mitigation plans to avoid delivery setbacks.
- Handle escalations and resolve issues quickly to keep programmes on track.
Process Improvement and Change Management
- Encourage ongoing improvement throughout all programmes, embedding better operational practices.
- Work with the business transformation team to support adoption of new processes and technologies, focusing on effective change management and team involvement.
Performance and Reporting
- Set and track KPIs that provide insight into productivity, efficiency, and scalability.
- Produce executive-level reports and presentations that communicate programme status and impact to senior stakeholders.
