AECOM is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in Ports and Navigation to join our team in Houston, TX.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as Project Manager for diverse ports and navigation initiatives, encompassing dredging, beneficial use of dredged materials, feasibility studies, and coastal restoration projects.
- Providing technical leadership throughout all project phases, from planning to construction, ensuring excellence in multi-disciplinary project execution.
- Exhibiting proficiency in both conventional and innovative technologies, as well as alternative delivery projects.
- Ensuring comprehensive management of project delivery aspects, including scope, schedule, financials, and quality standards.
- Drafting technical memoranda, conducting planning studies, and preparing final design calculations, plans, and specifications.
- Collaborating effectively with other discipline leads, clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies to manage and implement successful projects.
- Developing innovative solutions to address new challenges by adapting standard procedures or methods.
- Identifying opportunities for growth, assisting in the development of proposals and statements of qualifications.
- Fostering and maintaining strong relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- Engaging actively in ports and marine industry-specific conferences and professional associations.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
