QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Propulsion Engineering. A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in rocket motor design and certification. Extensive knowledge of design principles for MIL-STD, STANAG, or comparable aerospace qualification standards. Proven experience in qualifying rocket motors or ignition safety and arm devices in accordance with NATO standards. Strong understanding of risk analysis methodologies, including FMEA or similar approaches. Hands-on experience conducting static firing tests and handling propellant materials.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and develop rocket motors and pyrotechnical products.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis and performance evaluations, focusing on iterative design and optimization.
  • Facilitate design processes for rocket motor qualification and certification in alignment with MIL-STD and STANAG standards.
  • Interpret certification criteria and convert them into actionable engineering and testing specifications.
  • Compile technical reports, qualification matrices, and compliance documentation adhering to military and aerospace benchmarks.
  • Create and implement qualification and verification testing protocols, including functional, vibration, thermal, and pressure assessments.
  • Perform risk analyses, including FMEA/FMECA evaluations.
  • Collaborate closely with design engineers on motor hardware, insulation, and igniter integration to ensure certifiability from the outset.
  • Assist in failure investigations, root cause analysis, and updates to design or testing procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Work in partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders to synchronize design validation and certification timelines.
