As a Senior Propulsion Engineer, you will lead the design and technical certification processes for our propulsion systems, ensuring they meet stringent MIL and STANAG standards. Your Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and develop rocket motors and pyrotechnical products.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis and performance evaluations, focusing on iterative design and optimization.
- Facilitate design processes for rocket motor qualification and certification in alignment with MIL-STD and STANAG standards.
- Interpret certification criteria and convert them into actionable engineering and testing specifications.
- Compile technical reports, qualification matrices, and compliance documentation adhering to military and aerospace benchmarks.
- Create and implement qualification and verification testing protocols, including functional, vibration, thermal, and pressure assessments.
- Perform risk analyses, including FMEA/FMECA evaluations.
- Collaborate closely with design engineers on motor hardware, insulation, and igniter integration to ensure certifiability from the outset.
- Assist in failure investigations, root cause analysis, and updates to design or testing procedures to maintain compliance.
- Work in partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders to synchronize design validation and certification timelines.
