Senior Python Backend Developer / Machine Learning Engineer (IR-501)

Essential Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. A minimum of 2 years of practical experience with Machine Learning and production-level LLM systems. Proficient in Backend API development using FastAPI, async patterns, and rate limiting. Experience with Dependency Injection and classical interface-based design. Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) and hybrid search methodologies. Advanced Python programming skills, including async/await, type hints, Pydantic, and SOLID principles. Hands-on experience in MLOps tools: MLflow, model versioning, A/B testing; knowledge of Langfuse is preferred. Experience with NLP and computer vision technologies, such as document understanding, OCR, and GPT-4 Vision. Capability in building feature pipelines, performing real-time and batch inference, and model serving. Familiarity with HuggingFace is mandatory; experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex is a plus. Desirable Skills:Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD with Docker, Azure DevOps pipelines or GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of data security measures, including multi-tenant data isolation and secure key management (Azure Key Vault). Experience designing on cloud platforms, particularly Azure (strongly preferred), including Azure OpenAI, Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Container Registry; AWS or GCP experience is also valuable. Background in data engineering within big data systems, including large-scale data processing and ETL/ELT pipelines.
