ciandt is looking for a Senior QA Engineer (SDET) to join the team in Campinas, SP. This hybrid position focuses on building and maintaining automated test strategies, collaborating with development teams, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to user story development by defining test strategies and providing automation estimates.
- Design, document, and maintain test strategies and scenarios for new and existing features.
- Develop and execute a variety of tests: unit, component, acceptance, integration, load, security, scalability, usability, and platform tests.
- Review code to uphold the consistency, quality, and reusability of test automation assets.
- Work closely with developers to achieve comprehensive test coverage and create solutions for test automation challenges.
- Create and maintain automated test suites, ensuring they run across different environments and CI/CD pipelines for NOC team use.
- Regularly execute, update, and maintain automated test suites, analyzing failures to identify root causes.
- Document defects with clear, detailed descriptions and track them through resolution, including validating fixes and updating automation as needed.
- Present test results to support sign-off on software functionality for new production releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and release management to coordinate software development, QA, and production releases.
- Perform exploratory testing to better understand feature implementations, uncover unexpected behaviors, and refine test cases.
- Contribute to the QA automation framework using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Promote and enhance coding standards and best practices for automated QA code.
- Participate in major incident and emergency change analyses to identify opportunities for automating tests and reducing recurring issues.
