As the trusted leader in our field, Winthrop is currently engaged in multiple high-capacity data centre projects throughout Europe, totaling over 500 MW of IT load. We are excited to welcome a Senior Quantity Surveyor to our team in Dublin for a site-based role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior project team members to procure subcontract packages and essential project components.
  • Prepare quantified work packages, ITTs, and budgets based on technical documentation.
  • Analyze and present tender submissions effectively.
  • Draft and finalize subcontract documents.
  • Oversee commercial management of various subcontract packages, ensuring timely payments, managing variations, and claims.
  • Continuously monitor costs and financial entitlements for assigned projects.
  • Engage actively with clients, subcontractors, designers, and internal teams.
  • Submit compliant commercial documentation in line with contractual obligations.
  • Develop, present, and agree on external valuations.
  • Negotiate variations, omissions, and final accounts with subcontractors and clients professionally and expediently.
  • Provide regular cost/value and cash flow reports.
  • Proactively seek to resolve disputes where feasible.
  • Supervise and mentor junior commercial team members.
  • Manage project cost reporting to meet client-driven KPIs and benchmarks.
  • Identify cost-reduction initiatives and summarize findings for senior management.
  • Monitor factors affecting construction costs and identify efficiencies across multiple projects.
  • Analyze and manage critical project performance data, reporting monthly to Winthrop senior management.
  • Review and collaborate with the supply chain to assess their capacity and capabilities.
  • Enhance and maintain the detailed screening and onboarding program for the supply chain.
