Qualifications
Responsibilities:Implement and rigorously test QEC codes within our software stack, adapting to evolving requirements. Rapidly iterate code implementations based on experimental outcomes. Design and execute QEC simulations to inform the development of our QEC strategy. Identify the earliest viable quantum algorithms that capitalize on our system's capabilities, including projecting and simulating preliminary fault-tolerant algorithms. Innovate QEC codes and their software implementations, collaborating closely with QEC theorists and quantum engineers. Collaborate on groundbreaking QEC experiments in conjunction with quantum engineers. Engage with users from various industries, such as logistics, finance, pharmaceuticals, and materials science, to adapt their use cases to our systems. Requirements:Master's or PhD degree in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on quantum computing. At least 5 years of experience in Python programming or other general-purpose programming languages. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the quantum computing industry, specifically in QEC and deployment of quantum algorithms. Proficiency in one or more quantum computing SDKs, including Qiskit, Q#, or CUDA-Q. Deep understanding of quantum computing principles and quantum information science. Specialization in quantum error correction. Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development environments. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
