Key Responsibilities:Implement advanced metrology techniques to support the materials and process development roadmap. Diagnose and resolve metrology equipment issues in collaboration with vendors. Work alongside process engineers to determine appropriate characterization methods and assist in data interpretation. Collect and analyze metrology data; compile findings for engineering and management review. Ensure tool uptime by collaborating with vendors and supporting lab operations during off-hours. Train engineers on metrology tools, develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), and create recovery protocols for tool-down scenarios. Monitor and report tool performance data; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Create metrology recipes and applications to streamline operations and address technical challenges. Provide on-call support to maintain seamless lab operations during night and weekend shifts. Adhere to LEAN 6S standards, ensuring a clean and organized laboratory environment. Stay updated with industry trends by attending relevant conferences and seminars.

We are looking for a dedicated R&D Metrology Engineer to join our dynamic materials development teams. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hands-on professional with a strong command of materials characterization equipment and techniques. In this role, you will collaborate closely with ALD and Epi process engineers to develop and optimize next-generation materials for advanced semiconductor processing.

This position requires early morning shifts (1st shift) and weekend coverage to ensure maximum utilization and uptime of metrology equipment in a fast-paced R&D environment.
