Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Regulatory Engineer will:Provide expert interpretation of relevant codes and standards (such as NEC, UL, CSA, ANSI/IEEE C37.20) and communicate actionable guidance to engineering teams. Act as a primary technical resource for R&D, Product Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing, advising on standards-driven design and compliance. Serve as the main technical point of contact with UL and other NRTLs, guiding certification strategies, supporting testing, and maintaining product listings. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that new designs, modifications, and component substitutions meet certification requirements and standards. Analyze changes in regulatory codes, assess their impact on IEM products, and develop training materials for stakeholders to maintain compliance. Create educational resources regarding codes and standards for internal and external stakeholders as required.
