About the Role
The Senior Release Manager is a pivotal strategic leader within the Release Management domain at NiCE CXone. This role is accountable for orchestrating enterprise-wide release strategies, governance, and execution for our vital, industry-leading customer interaction management platform. The Senior Release Manager collaborates closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations leadership to ensure that our SaaS releases are predictable, high-quality, and maintain a 99.99% uptime SLA, while continuously enhancing release practices through automation and operational excellence.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Own and advance the enterprise release management strategy, governance frameworks, and best practices within NiCE CXone.
Lead the planning, orchestration, and execution of intricate, large-scale SaaS releases across multiple teams, services, and deployment models.
Act as the primary release authority, ensuring readiness, conducting risk assessments, and making go/no-go decisions aligned with business objectives.
Drive the continuous improvement of release processes, change management, and automation throughout the SDLC to enhance reliability and mitigate operational risks.
Champion ITIL-aligned Change and Problem Management practices, including post-release reviews, root cause analysis, and corrective measures.
Oversee early customer access and beta programs, managing communication plans, success metrics, and escalation pathways.
Guide and mentor Release Managers and cross-functional teams on release best practices, tools, and execution standards.
Serve as a senior escalation point during release-related incidents, coordinating responses and resolutions across teams.
Represent Release Management in executive and customer-facing communications with clarity, confidence, and accountability.
Provide leadership and oversight during off-hours releases, including nights and weekends, as necessary.
