Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a seasoned RF Design Electrical Engineer with over 7 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain secure, resilient, and scalable data systems that support mission-critical maritime and defense applications.

This role demands extensive expertise in RF and analog hardware design. The ideal candidate will possess experience collaborating with government contractors, military systems, or within regulated environments, and have a strong understanding of the operational requirements for real-time, high-availability data platforms.

Experience with GIS, streaming architectures, software-defined radio (SDR) systems, radar pipelines, maritime domain awareness systems, or military data management will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, simulate, and develop custom RF circuits and SDR hardware, encompassing complete RF signal chains (LNAs, PAs, mixers, filters, oscillators, ADC/DAC, antennas).
  • Conduct RF modeling, link budgets, and system-level performance evaluations using industry-standard simulation tools.
  • Create and optimize high-frequency, multi-layer PCBs ensuring signal integrity, impedance control, EMI/EMC compliance, and thermal performance.
  • Prototype, test, validate, and troubleshoot RF systems utilizing lab instrumentation (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope).
  • Integrate RF front-end hardware with SDR platforms, FPGAs, and embedded systems.
  • Lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and support rugged deployments in maritime, airborne, or tactical settings.
  • Drive continuous enhancements in performance, efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability.
