About the Role
The Senior Sales Development Representative for Strategic Accounts collaborates closely with Veeam Account Executives to enhance our outreach within existing strategic accounts and to engage new prospective clients.
The SDRs play a crucial role in qualifying marketing-generated demand, which is evidenced by interactions with marketing initiatives, specific actions taken, and meeting scoring criteria. These initial marketing interactions serve as a launchpad to identify and engage other members of the buying group in an outbound effort to further validate buying signals and assess potential opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Generate new demand by identifying opportunities within the sales organization for pursuing potential leads.
- Qualify marketing-generated leads based on established criteria before transitioning qualified opportunities to account executives.
- Identify, validate, and connect with additional personas or stakeholders involved in the buying decision, sharing insights with the sales team.
- Nurture targeted groups of prospects for account executives using various engagement tactics to drive meaningful interactions and assess interest levels for potential opportunities.
- Adhere to all demand management-related service level agreements.
- Maintain and manage account information, prospecting, qualification, and nurturing activities using Salesforce CRM.
- Organize cadence workflows for all key players in opportunities, utilizing Salesforce for daily outreach, including calls, voicemails, social media, and emails.
- Foster strong collaboration with aligned sales teams.
- Engage in productive conversations with individuals representing the targeted buyer personas.
- Coordinate sales activities within the broader Veeam team.
