Role Overview: Senior Sales Engineer
This Senior Sales Engineer position is a founding role on Syndio’s new Sales Engineering team in Calgary. The role bridges Product and Revenue, shaping how technical value is communicated to prospects and clients. The Senior Sales Engineer leads discovery sessions, delivers tailored product demonstrations to senior stakeholders (including CHROs and technical/security teams), and acts as a subject matter expert on topics like data, integrations, security, and AI/PII. Insights from the field will help refine demos, strengthen enablement, and provide actionable product feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle, owning the technical narrative for each prospect.
- Deliver engaging, customized product demonstrations to audiences such as CHROs, Compensation leaders, CFOs, and technical buyers, adapting to their priorities.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover prospect challenges, such as pay disparities, compliance needs, fragmented data systems, and pay decision risks, and connect these to Syndio’s platform capabilities.
- Design and run proof-of-concept projects, using prospect data where possible to demonstrate measurable results.
- Translate complex analytical concepts into clear, accessible explanations for diverse audiences.
