Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in construction scheduling. Proven experience working collaboratively within a complex matrix organization. Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Turner & Townsend is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Scheduler to join our team, focusing on scheduling as a critical project controls function for a high-profile data center construction project. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history of successfully delivering construction project control services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for project owners.
  • Establish and implement the schedule management program and key deliverables for large-scale capital projects.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to project stakeholders, providing valuable guidance and recommendations.
  • Prepare baseline schedules and supporting documentation for project team approval.
  • Conduct resource loading and leveling for the schedule.
  • Integrate contractors' schedules into the IMS.
  • Evaluate impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities, reporting findings to the project team.
  • Monitor schedule deviations and variances, assisting in the development of corrective action strategies.
  • Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies to assess project progress.
  • Regularly review schedules with project team members to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Generate periodic schedule progress reports, trending charts, and analyses.
  • Maintain documentation of scope changes and trends that could affect schedule performance.
  • Ensure the reliability of information included in the schedule.
  • Maintain communication with clients and consultants throughout all project phases.
  • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
