Key Responsibilities Act as a senior technical and governance reference across security, certifications, risk, and internal controls, shaping our strategic direction. Identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement in technical procedures necessary for certification and recertification processes (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS). Foster robust partnerships with business and technical leaders to manage audits, assessments, and remediation plans effectively, ensuring scalability. Collaborate with technical teams to devise action plans that uphold regulatory requirements and internal policies. Conduct thorough assessments of internal controls, verifying compliance with internal policies, legal obligations, and industry standards. Identify deficiencies in the internal control environment and lead reviews, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Work closely with Risk teams to ensure alignment on the mitigation of identified risks. Assist in responding to audit requests, regulatory inquiries, and due diligence from business partners.
