Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a proficient and driven Senior Security Operations Analyst to enhance our Information Security program through continuous monitoring and operational excellence. This pivotal role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our Information Security initiatives, ensuring both our cloud and on-premises environments are robust, observable, and defensible. Collaborating closely with the DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams, you will respond to incidents, bolster protective measures, document our automated and manual playbooks, and actively participate in our Security Incident Response process.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the monitoring and operation of internal security tools and automation pipelines to enhance visibility and enforce security controls across the infrastructure.
Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OpenGov’s Detection and Response tools and processes.
Triage incoming threat detections, efficiently responding to escalations from Junior Security Analysts, and drive investigations to resolution.
Ensure adherence to response and escalation Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and runbook policies across the team, providing feedback and updates to maintain consistency and accuracy.
Lead the deployment, testing, and documentation efforts associated with new security tools.
Manage operational responsibilities for critical security tools, including vulnerability management platforms, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Incident Response, secrets management, application security scanning systems, endpoint protection systems, among others.
Develop and maintain custom detection rules, alerts, and remediation strategies for cloud-native environments.
