We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer specializing in Structural Engineering for Airports to oversee structural construction activities related to airport infrastructure projects. This role is critical in ensuring that all structural works, including foundations, concrete and steel structures, and terminal building components, are executed to the highest standards in line with approved designs, project specifications, safety regulations, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervision of Structural Construction: Lead the construction of structural elements such as foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls, and steel structures.
- Ensure compliance with approved structural drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor contractor performance to adhere to project timelines.
- Quality Assurance & Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, and structural installations to ensure compliance with quality control procedures.
- Verify quantities, measurements, and progress at the construction site.
- Airport Infrastructure Coordination: Facilitate coordination of structural works related to terminal buildings, control towers, utility buildings, hangars, and other airport facilities.
- Collaborate closely with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Project Monitoring & Reporting: Track daily site progress and prepare comprehensive site inspection and progress reports.
- Identify structural issues and suggest corrective measures as necessary.
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Uphold construction safety regulations and environmental standards while implementing and monitoring safety procedures at the site.
