Your Impact
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Axon develops and manages its core platforms. Your main focus will be on Zero Touch, our compliant execution framework, along with the security and identity infrastructure surrounding it. You will move beyond traditional manual processes, designing and building the platforms, tools, and frameworks that empower hundreds of engineers to operate with safety and efficiency at scale.
Your extensive background in infrastructure and platform engineering, along with your deep understanding of distributed systems, will drive your preference for automation, self-service, and policy-driven approaches. You will prioritize security, identity, and auditability alongside performance metrics such as latency and error budgets, and excel in highly regulated environments where accuracy, traceability, and least privilege are paramount.
This role requires extensive cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with senior engineers from various product and platform teams to define how we design, deploy, secure, and maintain Axon’s cloud infrastructure in a cutting-edge, AI-enhanced environment.
Location - This position is based in our Seattle office and follows a hybrid work model. We encourage in-person collaboration, asking team members to work onsite Tuesday through Friday, with the option to work remotely on Mondays, barring any approved workplace accommodations.
