About the Tavily Team
The Tavily team is developing the infrastructure layer for agentic web interactions on a large scale. Our API is architected to facilitate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and real-time reasoning in AI systems. By linking large language models (LLMs) to reliable and high-quality web content, we empower developers to create agents that are not just intelligent but also informed.
We collaborate with some of the most forward-thinking teams in the AI landscape, ranging from nimble startups to major enterprises implementing AI at scale. Whether enabling sales assistants, research copilots, or internal knowledge tools, we serve as the crucial bridge between LLMs and real-world applications.
The Role: Senior Backend Engineer (Tavily)
We are on the lookout for a talented Software Engineer to join our core engineering team, contributing to the infrastructure that underpins one of the fastest-growing AI APIs. You will engage with systems designed to manage massive scale within a distributed microservices architecture hosted on AWS. Expect to deliver quickly, take charge of vital systems, and tackle complex infrastructure challenges as we expand.
This position is ideal for an engineer passionate about building ambitious systems from the ground up and eager to confront the scale and complexity challenges typically associated with much larger organizations.
