As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing software systems. Depending on your expertise and the complexity of the systems, responsibilities may vary. At entry levels, you may work under close supervision as part of a team, utilizing detailed specifications to develop or maintain straightforward systems. In more advanced roles, you will work independently or take on a leadership position, crafting system architectures, defining processes and methodologies, resolving intricate technical issues, and potentially directing software activities for large programs. As a SWE 4, you will demonstrate all the skills of lower levels while creating and implementing software solutions based on stakeholder requirements and collaboration with users or systems engineers. You will also develop installation procedures or scripts for software systems and analyze performance issues to ensure optimal functionality.
